Product description
Main head chuck (Main spindle) for lathes with hydraulic feed and chuck nose. Useful for milling bars and reinforcement.
Secondary turning includes mechanical parts made by secondary machining, useful on one-off parts, small production runs and non-serial production.
Bar turning, on the contrast, works for the mass production of components. Turning from bar takes advantage of bar feeders, on which the bar feeders are collets.
By replacing appropriate adapters, this chuck mounts different collets:
- Simple BA type cone (type DIN 6343)
- BD type double cone
- Multidiameter with BAS type sectors
- BE type traction (also with cup)
- PE-PET expandable type
Hydraulic power supply
The hydraulic spindle power supply enables the opening and closing of the collets and expandable collets on the MITN chuck. Opening and closing of the expandable collets takes place through hydraulic power on the chuck nose of the lathe shaft. For milling bars, we recommend using BD double cone collets. MSDTN chucks are made in two versions:- MSDTN / 1C with 1 impulse chamber – max. pression 30bar
- MSDTN / 2C with 2 impulse chambers – max. pression 20 bar
