    • Direct flange type 1 (ISO-A)
      It is attached to the body of the MSCTN-AF collet holding chuck
      and directly mounted on the machine nose.

 

  • Interposed type 2 flange (ISO-A)
    This is used when the MSCTN/AF collet holding chuck must be mounted on a machine nose of dimensions smaller than that normal for the chuck centering diameter.
    In this case, the interposed flange is mounted directly on the machine nose.
    Later, the collet holding chuck is mounted and attached to the flange.
